Fans of Max Verstappen can purchase a special piece of memorabilia. There is an opportunity to buy a piece of the Red Bull with which Verstappen secured his first world championship.
A press release from Formula 1 states that only 1,000 mystery boxes will be issued worldwide. Each box has a value of at least €1300: "The boxes, limited to a run of 1,000, have items with a minimum value of £1,300, which each one containing an authentic piece of the RB16B which Verstappen raced on his way to becoming the first Dutch world champion."
Historic F1 moments in the mystery box
It was decided to include in every mystery box a component linked to a historic F1 moment, including a guaranteed part from the RB16B, the car with which Verstappen won his first title: "Every box is guaranteed to contain an authentic piece from Max Verstappen’s 2021 World Championship-winning car."
"In the RB16B, Verstappen became the first ever driver from the Netherlands to win the championship, achieving 10 wins and battling Lewis Hamilton in memorable fashion to the very end of the season."

Also unique items from other Formula 1 teams
In addition to the piece from the RB16B, other unique items can also be found in the mystery box: "Alongside the guaranteed Red Bull Racing component, every Mystery Box will also contain a unique combination of authentic Formula 1 memorabilia from teams across the grid, which could include anything from race-used items to exclusive collectibles."
The mystery boxes are going on sale after the first run proved extremely popular. That batch included a piece from the McLaren in which Lando Norris became champion in 2026.
