Verstappen unhappy with his RB20 in Bahrain: "Everything is ****"

Max Verstappen and his race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase (GP) have resumed their radio banter in the first official session of the 2024 Formula 1 season. Verstappen completed his first fast lap, setting purple times in sectors one and two. He then responded on the radio: "Everything is ****, like miles off"

At the time (within the first 15 minutes of FP1), Verstappen went to the top of the timesheets. The Dutchman then said on the radio: "Everything is ****, like miles off". GP responded calmly.

Verstappen then went into the pits and made a small adjustment to the front wing before going back onto the track. He then gave his feedback again.

"Still very bad downshifts and upshifts. Car is literally jumping," Verstappen said. GP would prefer the feedback not to continue on the radio. He replied with a simple "Ok, thank you."
