'Vandoorne finds new employer in Formula E before 2023'

Stoffel Vandoorne appears to be well on his way to making the switch to Dragon Racing next season, reports The Race. Both parties would now have come to terms to work together from 2023 onwards.
The driver will be forced to leave Mercedes after the current racing year, as the team previously decided it would be leaving Formula E. However, last week Vandoorne already hinted that he expected that he is not working on his last season.
That indeed appears to be the case, as he is scheduled to step into Dragon Racing's car from 2023. "There’s a lot of changes happening, and I just need to make sure in my mind what the best thing available is for the future and then we take a decision on that," he revealed earlier.

Striking choice of Vandoorne

His choice for the Americans can be called remarkable. While he is top of the world championship with Mercedes, Dragon Racing still did not manage to get rid of the hated zero points. It is therefore questionable what the prospects will be for him next season. With the Belgian, the team seems to have found an excellent driver.
