Valtteri Bottas and his girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell travelled to South Africa this weekend to compete in the Swartberg100 cycling competition. The Sauber driver took to social media to share his success with his fans, and show off another medal to add to his collection.

"What a stunning route"

The Swartberg100 is one day endurance gravel bike race which takes place in Southern Africa. Bottas shared the news across social media that he finished sixth in the cycling race, whilst his pro-cyclist girlfriend finished first in the women's race. The Finnish driver described her as the "hero of the day." Finishing sixth in his age group means Bottas has now qualified for the UCI Cycling Gravel World Championship.
