It was not easy for Yuki Tsunoda in Jeddah. On Saturday, engine problems hampered his qualifying, and on Sunday he had to retire before he even reached the starting lineup. He stressed that his team "can't go on like this."
The AlphaTauri driver switched to a new power source after experiencing technical problems during qualifying, but he was again hit by engine problems on Sunday. As a result, the Japanese driver was unable to start the race in Saudi Arabia.

Frustration at Tsunoda

This caused frustration for Tsunoda, who sees that there is work to be done for his team. "It's such a shame that we are having these problems two times in a row," he says in conversation with Formula1.com. "We cannot continue like this, we have to solve this issue as soon as possible."
He emphasizes that the possibilities from the nineteenth starting spot would probably have been limited, but as the Japanese says: "Anything can happen". Tsunoda says he is especially disappointed that he was not able to gain the experience to improve himself as a driver.
