This time next week...F1 is BACK!

This time next week, F1 returns to our screens! It's been a long, action-packed, summer break, but the teams, drivers and fans are ready for its return! Hands up in the comments if you're excited!

This time next Sunday, we'll be building up to the start of the 2018 Belgian Grand Prix. But let's take a little flash-back at the three major things to happen during the summer break!

Nobody expected this to happen! It was announced early in the summer break that Ricciardo will be driving for Renault next season alongside Nico Hulkenberg. It was a massive bombshell and U-turn on almost everything that was said in the build-up to the summer. How will Ricciardo go in his final races at Red Bull? It's unclear, but we expect the Austrian team to remain fair.

Now, more people would have guessed correctly on this one! Last week, Alonso revealed the news on Twitter that he was to leave F1 racing after 17 years of involvement. After the summer break, we will all be wishing the best of luck for the Spaniard as he brings down the curtain.

In the week before the break, the Pink Panthers were literally up to their neck in it! But, with Lawerence Stroll's help, they've sorted a deal out and will continue to race! All jobs are secure!
