Today marks the opening day of winter testing in Bahrain, with drivers preparing to take to the track for the first time this season. But who will be in action across the day?
The three-day test runs from Wednesday, February 11 to Friday, February 13, with teams already confirming their driver line-ups and session schedules.

Following this initial outing, the grid will enjoy a short break before returning for their final laps of testing from February 18 to 20. Drivers will alternate duties throughout the test, with each day split into morning and afternoon sessions.
Verstappen kicks off for Red Bull, first laps for Williams
Verstappen will be straight into action for
Red Bull Racing, with the Dutchman scheduled to handle driving duties for the entire day on Wednesday. As a result, Isack Hadjar will sit out the opening day of running.
Williams will also finally put some early mileage on their new car after missing the Barcelona test. Team principal James Vowles previously explained that several components were not ready in time, forcing the British outfit to skip the Spain outing. Bahrain, therefore, marks their first proper laps of the season. Carlos Sainz will take the wheel in the morning session, before Alexander Albon steps in for the afternoon.
Elsewhere,
McLaren, Mercedes and
Ferrari — unlike Red Bull — have chosen to split duties between both drivers across the day. Reigning world champion Lando Norris is set to complete his first laps at the Bahrain International Circuit during the afternoon session.
