Earlier this afternoon, EA announced the ratings for the new F1 game. Notably, a number of the top drivers were given relatively low ratings. The internet responded clearly to the drivers' ratings, and the criticism was harsh.

Max Verstappen is top-ranked, Sainz scores higher than Hamilton

The current world champion scored the highest, with a rating of 95, followed by Lando Norris, with 91. Sainz scores higher than Hamilton and Alonso. This afternoon, it was revealed that the ratings are not fixed and can change throughout the season.
The internet was full of astonishment at the assigned ratings. Reactions flooded in with comments on the game's creators, EA. Specifically, the fact that Oscar Piastri was not higher on the list was a reason for the uproar. On X, opinions were outspoken. Below is a selection of responses to EA's announcement.
