Erik ten Hag praises Verstappen: 'He knows how to win'

Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag has full confidence in his compatriot Max Verstappen. Sky Sports asked Ten Hag if he had any tips for Verstappen, and the coach indicated that the Red Bull driver does not need any advice at all.

Ten Hag prepares Manchester United for an exciting Premier League game against Liverpool. Although by far most of the attention was obviously on that, the interviewer could not resist asking Ten Hag if he had any tips for Verstappen and whether the Dutch coach thinks his compatriot will win his third title in a row.

Ten Hag had only words of praise for Verstappen. "I don't have tips because he has shown such massive performances," Ten Hag explained. "He is such a good driver in the first place, but a great personality. Such a winner. He knows how to win. I am sure he will do the same this year because he is so consistent. He is young but so experienced as well. We are really proud of him and wish him good luck. And bring the world title to the Netherlands again."
