Alfa Romeo have performed as expected. They are rarely pushing the top midfield teams, but at the lower end of the battle, they are dominant. A mixture of Kimi Raikkonen's experience and Antonio Giovinazzi's youth has created an interesting balance at the team. They will hope to build on their steady season so far and get more points after the summer.
Alfa Romeo 6/10
Considering Alfa Romeo are technically a junior team, they have performed well. They are sitting 7th in the constructor's championship, only 7 points behind Renault who are 6th. They have not really lit up the grid but neither have they been tail-enders. They will be hoping that they can build on their strong foundation and battle higher up the grid after the summer break.
The Formula 1 veteran has proven that he has still got it this season. At 39 years of age, the Finn is the oldest driver on the grid but his results are arguably the most impressive. The Alfa driver has not crashed this year and has cost his team no money at all in repairs.

He has consistently beaten his teammate in both qualifying and on race day and has really pushed the limits of the car. He is one of the best drivers on the grid.
The young Italian driver has struggled to impress so far this season. He has only 1 championship point so far this season and compared to his teammates 31, it is clear to see the difference in class of driver.
Giovinazzi will hope that with more experience and time in the sport he can hunt down more points and maybe challenge his teammate after the summer break.
