Lance Stroll may still only be 20, but he has two years of Formula One experience already behind him and will be expected to step up his performance when he debuts for Racing Point alongside Sergio Perez.
Stroll controversially replaced Esteban Ocon after the Canadian’s father took over the team formerly known as Force India last summer.
This has put added pressure on Lance, but he says he is feeling good ahead of the first race weekend of the season.
He said in Racing Point’s press release: “My batteries are fully charged and I’m feeling in great shape.”
Despite the positive feeling, Stroll did not disclose any targets for the race, adding: “I’m not heading into the race with any defined expectations.

“There are too many unknowns at the moment for me to make predictions. We will take it as it comes and focus on our programme, building speed with each session.”
