Formula 3 driver Sophia Floersch has confirmed that she'll be returning home from the hospital on Monday, with the 17-year-old flying back from Macau just eight days after her terrifying crash.
Last weekend, footage of Floersch's crash went viral, as she flew over the barriers in Macau during the Formula 3 race there.
Somehow, she got out of it with just a spinal fracture, which seems like nothing when you see the speed at which she hit the barriers head-first. She was operated last Monday, a day after the crash. Just eight days after it all went down, she's already leaving the hospital, she revealed on her Facebook page.
She was also quick to thank everyone involved for treating her in the way they did, as well as her fans worldwide for the support.
