Social Media scrutinise AlphaTauri livery: "No-nonsense stuff"

AlphaTauri presented the new car for the 2021 Formula 1 season on Friday morning. The AT02 should lead Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly to even better performances than in 2020, but are people just as lyrical about the car as last year?

Responses less enthusiastic than in 2020

AlphaTauri worked hard this winter to get all new parts on the car. Where most teams can only use two tokens to improve the car, AlphaTauri, like all other customer teams, has received new parts from the larger team to replace the old parts.

In that respect, this is good news for the customer teams, who can thus take a step upwards. AlphaTauri won a race in 2020, but might want to perform even more consistently in 2021. The question is whether that will work with the new car?

Physical shots of AlphaTauri are new livery on old car but give a better look at how the colours will work than the render, which is a little odd. If the 2021 car looks this good on track it's another winner (well, at least aesthetically!).
