Lewis Hamilton's Mission 44 foundation has gained a special donation from British television channel Sky Sports. Sky have donated a sum of £1million to the seven-time World Champion's foundation.

Sky and Hamilton team up

It's looking more and more likely that Lewis Hamilton will be back at the start of the Formula One season in 2022, which has been in doubt. Over the winter break, Hamilton has secured an important partner with his foundation, and with Mission 44, Hamilton is supporting and empowering young people from underrepresented groups in the UK.
Sky's donation is part of a £30million budget that will be distributed to various charities. The partnership with Hamilton's foundation, therefore, involves £1 million, spread over two years.
