Rain, often a defining factor at Silverstone and a major talking point during last year's race, is not currently expected to play a significant role this weekend. Instead, high temperatures could become one of the key variables. According to the weather channel, Friday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 26°C, while the chance of rain stands at just 4%. Westerly winds of around 17 km/h are also forecast.
Conditions are expected to remain largely unchanged on Saturday, although cloud cover will increase. Temperatures are set to reach 27°C, with the chance of rain rising slightly to 18%. Westerly winds of around 21 km/h are also expected, with gusts ranging between 15 and 25 km/h.
Sunday's British Grand Prix is currently forecast to be the hottest day of the weekend. Partly cloudy skies are expected, with temperatures climbing to 28°C. The chance of rain drops back to just 5%, while west-northwesterly winds of around 16 km/h, ranging between 10 and 15 km/h, are predicted.

Formula 1 season, following the previous Sprint events in China, Miami and Canada. With just a single free practice session available before competitive action gets underway, teams will have minimal time to dial in their setups before Sprint Qualifying determines the starting order for Saturday's Sprint Race.
Saturday's schedule will then feature both the Sprint and the traditional qualifying session, which will set the grid for Sunday's British Grand Prix. The weekend gets underway on Friday with Free Practice 1 at 13:30 CET (12:30 UK), followed later in the day by Sprint Qualifying at 17:30 CET (16:30 UK). Saturday's Sprint Race is scheduled to start at 13:00 CET (12:00 UK), before qualifying takes place at 17:00 CET (16:00 UK). The British Grand Prix will round off the weekend on Sunday, with the race set to begin at 16:00 CET (15:00 UK).
