Perez's family send him moving messages of support after Red Bull axe

Sergio Perez has been sent some heartfelt messages from his family after the Mexican was let go by Red Bull. He previously indicated that he did not want to give up on Red Bull Racing as it would be a bad example to his children. Now it's been announced that Perez is leaving Red Bull after a tough 2024 season. The Mexican's family will always be by his side, as they explained in moving messages.

After the news broke that Perez would leave Red Bul, his wife Carola Martinez posted an emotional video on her social media. In it, photos of Perez were shown, from his childhood to his final months at Red Bull.

The video ended with video messages from his three children. The first was his eldest son, Sergio. He said, "Thank you so much, Daddy, for being a role model, you are the best driver and the best daddy."

His youngest children, Carlota and Emilio, also left a message each. Since they are still young, it remained modest: 'Never give up' and 'I love you so much, Daddy'. The message, which can be viewed below, also included a message from Carola. She wrote: "How proud I am to see you through the years. Thank you, my love."
