Haas drivers have been warned. A major crash during this race weekend could put them out of action for the rest of the weekend. After all, a spare chassis is not available.
With his heavy crash in Saudi Arabia, the race weekend in Jeddah came to an early end for Mick Schumacher. He was fit again on Sunday, but was unable to return to action. The German had parked his car in the wall during qualifying after a big crash. That blow, however, is still reverberating at Haas.

Concerns for Haas

Guenther Steiner at Motorsport.com Steiner that there is no spare chassis available in Australia. The two drivers have a chassis, but must try to keep it in one piece. Should the whole chassis be broken again, then the American team can continue racing with only one car.
The broken chassis from Saudi Arabia is still on its way to the factory in England. There it will have to pass a strict inspection before it can be used again. Steiner hopes to use that chassis again in Imola as a spare chassis. For now, his drivers just have to be careful.
