Sainz and Alonso must report to the stewards

Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso have to report to the stewards. The incident between the two drivers at turn seven, in which they touched, is at issue.

Alonso and Sainz have to report to the stewards after the sprint race. At 12:15pm local time (05:15am UK time), the two have to sit down for an interview with the stewards. At turn seven, the two drivers hit each other after a somewhat ambitious move by Fernando Alonso. The latter tried to overtake Sainz back after the latter had just passed him.

The two Spaniards will be back in action later today. Qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix starts at 8:00am UK time/9:00am CET. Then the starting order for Sunday's Grand Prix will be determined. Sunday's race is at the same time.
