Haas are struggling this season and their problems continued last weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix. Romain Grosjean is hoping that the car will be faster this weekend and that the team can finish in the points.
"We were surprised, yes, because on Friday, Renault was more than two seconds faster in terms of race pace. Then you don't go into the race with much confidence, but it was not too bad. I was able to keep up with the first stint and I also felt good on the tires in the second stint,” said Grosjean to Paddock Pass.
"We just missed out on the straight. We have added aerodynamic parts to the car that make it go better in the race, but we were driven past on the straight as if we were not there. That ultimately cost us points.''
Grosjean will hope that the same problems don't reoccur and that Haas can put in a competitive performance over the weekend.
