Williams has confirmed Robert Kubica will start Sunday's race from the pitlane following his crash in qualifying. His crash occurred during the final stages of Q1 in Baku.
His car picked up significant damage, with the Williams needing new brakes and a steering column. The pitlane start is because they broke parc ferme rules so they could get on track.
"Williams has opted to start from the pit lane with Robert following yesterday's incident in order to make further setup changes ahead of the race," a spokesperson for Williams confirmed.
Kubica will not be alone in the pitlane. Pierre Gasly will provide the company after missing the FIA weighbridge on Friday.
