Is it just me that still finds it weird to see Daniel Ricciardo in a Renault? We’ve got to get used to it, and maybe we’ll see him at the top end of the field in it sometime soon.
The Aussie is happy with his car’s progress in the first few days of testing, especially with the feel he can get in his car.
The move to Renault was a brave one from Ricciardo, who had spent five season at Red Bull, winning four races, but he felt he needed a new challenge and surprised us all by announcing the move to Renault last summer.
After the first test, Ricciardo said: "It is hard to ask too much in terms of testing as it never runs perfect, or I have never been in a perfect one in pre-season.
"It was quite useful for me, just going through set ups, feeling that they actually did something to the car, that was quite positive.

"When a car is numb and does not respond to changes, that normally is not a good sign. So after these four days it feels pretty positive."
