Renault: "We can make Renault champions again"

Red Bull is currently reviewing their options for who to pick as an engine partner for the coming years, but Renault team principal Cyril Abiteboul has claimed that Red Bull can be champions again if they stay with the French team.

Abiteboul said this when talking to Sky Sports F1.

"With Renault, Red Bull know what they're getting and what's coming in terms of upgrades," he explained.

A sly dig there towards the Japanese team, who have been steadily improving this season. Is Renault scared of losing Red Bull?
