Andrea Kimi Antonelli is simply unable to get himself out of the slump he's in. Within the first ten minutes of FP2 the Italian Mercedes driver was out of action.

Mercedes team principal and CEO Toto Wolff, had previously stated that with Antonelli the team were experiencing more bad times than good. The painful streak has stretched out at Monza.

The young Italian was making his way around Lesmo 2 on a flier when he lost the rear and found himself beached in his Mercedes W16 in the gravel on the outside of the complex corner.
