Red Bull: RB14-Chassis 'Best of the Field'

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner thinks that the RB14 has the best chassis out of all the cars, but knows that just that won't be enough to win the title this year.
Horner has gone over the GPS-data from pre-season and has concluded that the way the Red Bull flies through the corners is better than any other car. Red Bull-advisor Dr Helmut Marko seems to agree.
"Because of the GPS-data we know that we're ahead of our opponents," Marko told Autosport.
"We only have trouble with our power unit. It's hard to be on the level of Mercedes' excellent performance."
Horner thinks that Red Bull can be optimistic about their chances of winning races this year, but he does fear that the Renault-engine might be lacking in power compared to Ferrari and Mercedes.

"It's hard to draw conclusions this early on, but I'm sure that cornering won't be a problem this year," Horner stated.
"When you looked at the RB14, you could see how tight it went around every corner."
"We're really optimistic, the car is reacting really well."
"We know in which areas we're behind on our rivals, and we're going to have to try to compensate for them in other areas," he concluded.
