Throughout his F1 career, Max Verstappen has had several teammates, and the Red Bull Racing driver has managed to beat them all over the past years. Anthony Davidson has respect for the drivers daring to fill the second seat at the Austrian team. Max Verstappen has already had two teammates this
Formula 1 season. Liam Lawson was demoted to the Racing Bulls after two Grands Prix at the start of the season. Yuki Tsunoda was then promoted to the main team. Verstappen has been considerably faster than both drivers all season.
Davidson respects Verstappen's teammates
Anthony Davidson, analyst at Sky Sports and former F1 driver, has respect for drivers who dare to sit next to Verstappen. He specifically named Liam Lawson.
"That second seat there has cost many drivers their head, Liam included. It is brave to go there where actually no other driver dares to go. Because you're first devoured and then spat out by Max Verstappen. That happens to everyone, Max can end your career," the Briton told Formule1.nl.

According to Davidson, this has everything to do with the RB21 and Verstappen's unique abilities combined with this car.
"It is clear that Red Bull's car is very difficult to drive. Max can work around problems, that's true. Not all problems, but most. He extracts performances from the car that others cannot," said the former F1 driver.
Not only this year, but also in previous seasons the Dutchman was able to considerably beat his teammates. Among others Pierre Gasly, Alexander Albon and Sergio Perez ended up being replaced.
