This is where Verstappen spent his summer break this year
After the Hungarian Grand Prix at the beginning of August, the Formula 1 summer break began. Max Verstappen started his holiday with a trip to Portugal. It was here that the Dutchman, along with Kelly Piquet, Penelope, Lily, and other friends and family, was staying in a holiday home of the Piquet family. Nelson Piquet Jr. was also present on this holiday. The Brazilian took Verstappen for a ride.
After this holiday in Southern Europe, Verstappen moved to his own yacht, 'Unleash the Lion'. The exact route the Dutchman sailed with his boat is unknown, but the Red Bull Racing driver did visit Toto and Susie Wolff's boat in Sardinia together with Kelly Piquet.
Almost all of Verstappen's family converged on his yacht. Mother Sophie Kumpen, sister Victoria Verstappen with her fiancé Tom Heuts and children Luka, Lio and Hailey and Kelly Piquet, Penelope and Lily were all present. Images were shared on social media by different attendees from the party.
