Former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher has stated that there are "significantly worse" than his nephew, Mick Schumacher, going on to list these drivers.
"In my opinion, all three are worse than Mick, significantly worse."

The 26-year-old made 43 starts for Haas across the 2021 and 2022 seasons before holding the reserve driver role at Mercedes in 2023 and 2024.
The latter year also saw him make his debut in the World Endurance Championship with Alpine, going on to score two podium a year later in Imola and Spa-Francorchamps.
However, uncle Ralf believes that there are plenty of drivers still in F1 that are not on the level of Mick.

The German started by saying that his nephew "did superbly" with his time at Alpine in the WEC, also stating that "team bosses made a mistake by not using Mick" while speaking to Sky Sports Germany.
"If you understand anything from my perspective, and if you also look at the drivers' careers, I think Mick would definitely be better than [Yuki] Tsunoda.
"In my opinion, Mick is better than Liam Lawson and even better than Franco Colapinto. In my opinion, all three are worse than Mick, significantly worse."

What could Mick Schumacher's next step be?

A return to Formula 1 for Mick Schuamcher has always been the goal since he left Haas and Mercedes. However, a move away from WEC could be on the cards, with the German calling IndyCar a 'good option' to race in single-seaters.
“Obviously, my target the past couple of years has been to go back to Formula One... I want to race again in single-seaters, and therefore (this) option is a good one," stated the 25-year-old.
