Let’s take a look at the current weather forecast for the 2025 United States Grand Prix.
Friday’s opening day of running at the Circuit of the Americas is expected to bring hot and dry conditions, with temperatures climbing to around 33°C. Light winds between 10 and 15 km/h and moderate humidity near 58% will accompany a zero chance of rain, ensuring a stable start to the weekend.
Saturday, featuring both the Sprint Race and Grand Prix qualifying, could see a slight shift in weather. Forecasts point to partly cloudy skies and the possibility of an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures should rise to about 34°C, with light winds and humidity hovering near 60%.
For Sunday’s race, conditions are expected to improve again. The forecast calls for mostly clear skies and a top temperature of around 33°C, with winds remaining steady at 10 to 15 km/h. While the chance of rain is minimal, a brief passing shower can’t be ruled out over the Austin circuit.

What time does the 2025 US GP start?
The championship battle between the two McLarens and Max Verstappen continues this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, the nineteenth round of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
Austin will also mark the return of the Sprint format, set to shake things up and force teams to rethink their weekend approach and preparation.
Qualifying will already take place on Friday, while the Saturday Sprint could award crucial points in the fight for the Drivers’ Championship. The schedule, of course, follows U.S. local time, which means that fans in Europe and the United Kingdom will be able to enjoy the race in the evening.
