Rain is again expected to fall on Saturday and Sunday in Singapore this weekend, albeit it before any track activity on both days, which could add a different dimension to both qualifying and the race.
Spanish F1 analyst Albert Fabrega reported on his Twitter page that it's expected to stay dry during Free Practice sessions one and two on Friday, with just a 20% chance of rain.
However, on Saturday and Sunday, the heavens will likely open up, with an 80% chance of rain on both days. Fabrega did note that the rain would be falling before any track activity, so it could be that the track is already dry by the time the cars take to the track, as Singapore is a very hot place in Singapore. Temperatures will be in the high twenties, and even in the low thirties on Friday (Celsius, that is).
Last year's race, of course, was also in the wet, which sparked a lot of drama, with both Ferrari's taking themselves and Max Verstappen out at the very first corner of the race. Will we see anything like that this year?
