Kimi Raikkonen might be in his last season in Formula 1. It is not the first time that this is said about the Finn, who has not yet decided.
Raikkonen will turn 42 this season, making him the oldest driver on the current F1 grid. With Fernando Alonso, he is no longer the only one, but on the track, it is clear that the years are starting to count. Alfa Romeo seems to be looking further ahead for next season, but Kimi himself has not made up his mind yet.

Schumacher the successor to Raikkonen?

''To be honest, I don't know yet, but that was also the case last year around this time. We will see. In any case, I am not interested in extending my record (number of Grands Prix). All records are broken at some point anyway, so that really doesn't matter to me'', Raikkonen told Sport1.de.
The Finn is also asked about his possible successors. Raikkonen himself was once the successor to Michael Schumacher at Ferrari, and Mick is now mentioned as his possible successor. ''If I decide to stop, then I really don't care who takes my seat. That's not my problem anymore'', Kimi concludes with a smile.
