Kimi Raikkonen says that he was attacked by a fan in the Belgian paddock at Spa-Francrochamps following practice.
The Iceman has been nursing a leg injury that threatened to keep him out of the Belgian Grand Prix weekend, with Marcus Ericsson called up as cover.
Raikkonen told Finnish broadcaster C More: "I don't know, he looked drunk. He started waving his arms and hit me in the face. When I asked him what he was doing, he started yelling at me."
The paddock at Grands Prix are available for members of the public to pay to walk around, with sightings of drivers frequent, but what happened to Raikkonen is a very rare occurance.
