Racing Bulls unleash bold new livery ahead of Japanese GP

The Racing Bulls outfit has unveiled a striking new livery ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.
Ahead of the upcoming race in Mie Prefecture, the Faenza-based team revealed a new car paint scheme to celebrate the ultimate Japanese car culture.
The new livery is inspired by the Red Bull Spring Edition can showcased during Red Bull Tokyo Drift. The Red Bull Tokyo Drift has, over time, become a definitive, neon-soaked nighttime car meet and party featuring more than 500 carefully curated custom cars, DJ sets, and electrifying drifting performances.

The livery was designed in collaboration with celebrated Japanese calligrapher Bisen Aoyagi. It features the team’s classic colours, reworked into a bold white, red, and silver palette. This is also reflected in the team kit for the race weekend, which features custom calligraphy and expressive brush strokes that bring a strong sense of local culture to the design.

Racing Bulls CEO reacts to new livery

CEO of the Racing Bulls outfit, Peter Bayer, admitted that the livery is largely inspired by the team’s desire to connect with its young fans and the cultures that shape the sport. Bayer concluded by highlighting how such features, in conjunction with Aoyagi, make it even more special.
“As a team, we’re always looking for ways to connect with young fans and the cultures that shape our sport. The creative direction for this special livery and team kit originated with the Red Bull Spring Edition can, and together with Bisen Aoyagi, we transformed that bold design into something truly unique for the track. Unveiling it in Tokyo, in front of the passionate fans at Red Bull Tokyo Drift, makes this moment even more special for our team.”

Fans will get a rare chance to see the car up close on 23rd March at Shibuya109 – Entrance Event Space, right in the heart of Tokyo, where the special livery will be on full display.
