On Saturday morning, the Hyderabad ePrix was held, which was exciting until the last corner. Jean-Eric Vergne eventually took the win with his DS Penske. Nick Cassidy secured second place and Antonio Felix Da Costa was third.
The race did not end well for pole sitter Mitch Evans. He was put out of the race when Jaguar team-mate Sam Bird attempted an overly opportunistic overtake, eliminating both himself and Evans. Fenestraz and Günther were also victims of Bird's huge mistake.
The Jaguar drama meant that Envision Racing's Cassidy suddenly found himself in the top five, as Sacha Fenestraz and Maximilian Günther also lost places to the incident. The New Zealander eventually even managed to secure second position and did not make it easy for race leader Jean-Eric Vergne. A thrilling final battle ensued: Cassidy kept attacking the Frenchman but the latter managed to defend his position. Vergne took the victory in impressive fashion.

Fault bij Rast

NEOM McLaren seemed well underway but ended up losing both their cars. Jake Hughes spun and ended up in the wall while Rene Rast crashed into the back of Jake Dennis' car and lost his front wing. The damage was too extensive for both to continue.
Sebastien Buemi was initially third but had to swap this spot for P15 after a penalty. Da Costa, who originally finished fourth moved up to the podium with this. Current championship leader Pascal Wehrlein managed to box himself out from 12th to fifth, maintaining his position. Reigning champion Stoffel Vandoorne finished ninth.
