After another superb lap, Max Verstappen will start from pole position for the United States Grand Prix. See the provisional grid for Sunday’s race below! The Dutchman won the Sprint from pole and will aim to repeat that on Sunday to close the gap to the McLarens in the drivers’ standings.
Once again,
Lando Norris will line up alongside the Dutchman. The Brit's first attempt of trying to take the lead after the start did not go so well, as both
McLaren cars were involved in the Turn 1 incident.

The championship leader had a more difficult qualifying session. Piastri will start from sixth place, alongside
Lewis Hamilton. The second row of the grid will consist of
Charles Leclerc and George Russell.
Former Prema Racing teammates in Formula 2, Kimi Antonelli and Oliver Bearman share the fourth row. The duo already had a hard-fought battle during the Sprint.
It will be an all-Spanish fifth row with Carlos Sainz and two-time world champion Fernando Alonso.
Lance Stroll originally finished 18th in qualifying, but a grid penalty relegated him one position. After crashing out in Q1, Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar will start from last place.
