Things continue to rumble within Red Bull Racing. The new topic of conversation is now Helmut Marko - there is allegedly an investigation going on, and the consultant is not allowed to talk to the media. Therefore, he left the Jeddah Corniche Circuit immediately after qualifying. According to former Formula 1 driver Alexander Wurz, there is clearly a power struggle at Red Bull, and Toto Wolff is stoking the fire some more.

'Absolute power struggle going on at Red Bull'

"This clearly shows that all stops are being pulled out here, that there is fighting with elbows and all. It is an absolute power struggle breaking out here. This is really something very big, and it goes far beyond the F1 paddock," Wurz told ORF.
Meanwhile, Wolff looks on amused. With a wink, he offers the Red Bull adviser "asylum" with his own team. "We miss our old mascot (Niki Lauda), so we just take Helmut with us. He's the right age. He just doesn't have a red cap, but he can join us," jokes the Mercedes team boss.
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen supported Marko. As such, it could well be that any departure of the advisor would have disastrous consequences for the team. Verstappen stated that it is of "vital importance" for Marko to stay and even suggested that it could affect his own future at the team if he were to leave.
