Renault have changed their official name from Renault Sport Formula One Team to Renault F1 Team for the 2019 season.
The French side have opted with a name-change to try and reinforce the expression of the link that has been ever-present for more than 40 years between Renault and F1.
"This new name and new logo will be assets to achieve the strategic goals of developing the reputation and image of the Renault brand through our commitment to Formula One," says a press release by Renault.
"Whilst continuing to tactially support the news products of the range, especially in the sports segment."
