Sergio Perez could get ready for a visit to the stewards after qualifying. The Mexican visited the high command at 11:00 Dutch time and that eventually resulted in him not having to incur a grid penalty for the Australian Grand Prix.

No penalty for Perez

In the statement released by the stewards it can be read that Perez sufficiently reduced speed at the moment yellow flags were visible. According to them it is therefore not necessary to penalize the teammate of Max Verstappen.
Christian Horner already indicated to Sky Sports immediately after qualifying that Red Bull did not expect a grid penalty. The telemetry would show very clearly that Perez went off the gas.
