OFFICIAL: F1 announces dates for winter test in Barcelona and Bahrain

The dates for the six test days prior to the Formula One season have now been officially confirmed. Two tests will be held. One in Barcelona and the other in Bahrain.

The 2022 Formula One season is all about a fresh start. With completely new regulations, the teams had to go back to the drawing board to design a completely new car. Whereas until now this has mainly consisted of simulation work on the computer and in the wind tunnel, it is in the tests that the teams really see how they stand.

The Formula 1 season starts with a test in Barcelona, which will take place behind the scenes. On The official website of Formula 1 it has been announced that the test will take place in Barcelona from 23 to 25 February, but that there will be no live coverage. However, followers will be presented with a timesheet at the end of the day.

The second test week is in Bahrain from March 10 to 12, a week before the Grand Prix weekend in Bahrain (March 18 to 20). This test week can be followed live and fans are welcome on the circuit.
