Lando Norris has extended his contract at
McLaren until 2025. Norris and also team boss
Andreas Seidl are obviously very happy with the new agreement.
Norris was already tied up at
McLaren for a longer period of time, but the Brit has sat down at the negotiating table again after his strong season in 2021. Together with McLaren, a new agreement has come out of it, and it shows confidence. Norris is, in fact, signing until 2025, without knowing whether McLaren has built a good car at the start of the new era.
McLaren has also secured a talented driver in this way. A contract through 2025 means that McLaren, with the current generation of engines, has a driver who will get the most out of the package. Seidl is very happy with that.
