Lando Norris has described how his confidence has increased since his F1 debut in Australia a couple of months ago.
Norris is in his first season with McLaren after finishing runner up in F2 last season. The young Brit has scored 12 points this season and has been one of the most impressive drivers on the grid.
He was asked what the best thing he’s taken away from the season so far has been, replying: “Probably confidence in myself. That’s the thing I probably struggled with the most going to Australia.
“It was much better going to Bahrain, [I was] much more relaxed and enjoying it a lot more. I enjoyed Australia but I was so tense, thinking about so many things, I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to.
“Didn’t make it as fun as Bahrain or China. I think confidence in knowing I can do a good enough job.”
