Lando Norris has yet to rule Max Verstappen out of contention for the world title.
"He’ll be a threat—he always is. He’s always there, he’s always fighting, and I’m sure he’ll fight to the end."

The Dutchman completed a stunning comeback last Sunday. After a Q1 exit on Saturday and starting from the pit lane, he crossed the finish line in third place, right behind Kimi Antonelli.
Starting from pole position, Norris secured his seventh victory of the season at Interlagos.
After the race, he emphasised that the Red Bull driver remains a threat on each weekend and did not rule him out in the battle for the world title.

Norris expects Verstappen to fight until the end

The McLaren driver said: "I’m sure he’s going to be a threat in terms of races, and you never know with the championship. So it’s pointless trying to guess and come up with these things.
"But with how quick he was today—yeah, probably would have won if he started higher up. But that’s racing. Not everyone puts it together, and it’s easy to make mistakes in the world that we live in.
"Again, we maximised this weekend for ourselves, and that’s all we have to do. He’ll be a threat—he always is. He’s always there, he’s always fighting, and I’m sure he’ll fight to the end. So I look forward to it," the Briton concluded.

After collecting all 33 points available last weekend, Norris now leads Verstappen 49 points in the drivers' standings. Oscar Piastri is in second place, 24 points behind his McLaren teammate.
