All weekend, the McLarens seem to be the ones to beat. However, Charles Leclerc ended up taking pole position. After qualifying, Lando Norris reacted to being third.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said, “From how our form is, then of course (it's disappointing), but I think Charles did a good job on the last lap."

“He probably risked a little bit more in these conditions. The wind changed a lot, and it really seemed to punish us in a bigger way, it seems."
Norris was second in all three practice sessions. It seemed as if he would lock out the front row with his teammate Oscar Piastri. However, both McLarens failed to take pole position. Piastri will start in seconds as Norris starts third.
“We thought we both did some good laps at the end, and we were just slow. So, nothing to complain of, but Charles did a good job.”

Norris mentioned the wind as a factor that affected his lap, which is something Piastri also mentioned as an issue.
"As soon as the wind changed, everything went away and the last sector became even trickier again."
Regarding the race tomorrow, he said, "I want to go forwards, I want to win. And if I can do that, then I’ll get points."
"I think it’s going to be an exciting race. I would expect us to have a bit more pace than Charles, so I’m looking forward to it."
