Piastri's mother strikes again: 'Thank goodness for summer break'

Oscar Piastri's mother, Nicole Piastri, has once again taken to X. The Australian's mother shared a picture of her and her dog, Baz, watching the intense Belgian Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri had another fantastic weekend, finishing once again on the podium. He extends McLaren's streak of finishing on the podium consecutively since the Chinese Grand Prix. The Australian finished third in Belgium, after a close battle with the two Mercedes drivers, and leading the race at one point too.

Last weekend, the McLaren driver won in Hungary, sealing his first win in F1. His mother reacted to the excitement on X. This weekend, she did the same, stating: "Thank goodnes for the summer break, the excitement was starting to get to Baz." Piastri now sits fourth in the Driver's standings after Sunday's race, just 10 points behind Charles Leclerc. McLaren are also second in the Constructor's, behind Red Bull.
