Red Bull Racing have both the best and worst starting point for the Monaco Grand Prix. Max Verstappen will want to defend his pole position, while Sergio Perez needs to make up as many places as possible. Christian Horner and Adrian Newey look ahead to the race ahead of the drivers.

Newey and Horner look ahead to Monaco GP

"It's a Red Bull sandwich. Both have got slightly different strategies and objectives. If Max is clear, it's about trying to convert the great pole he had yesterday into the first corner. For Checo, it's about being creative on the strategy which is crucial on this track," Horner said to Sky Sports.
About Alonso's possible attacks, the Red Bull team boss tries not to worry too much. "For sure, he [Alonso] will be revved up but we can't worry too much about him. The big part of the race is about the first 500 metres," Horner said.
Newey adds that there is more to it than just a good start and a strong pit-stop strategy. "Obviously, all around here is important if it all goes well, but so many things can still happen, safety cars at the wrong time," concluded Red Bull Racing's designer in a conversation with Viaplay.
