Mick Schumacher is "a good candidate for Formula 1"

Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto has said that Mick Schumacher could be a good candidate for Formula 1 but thinks that 2021 will still be too early. Schumacher will have another season in Formula 2 and will hope that a smaller F1 team will take him on after that.

"Will he be a good candidate for Ferrari?" Binotto said at an end-of-season meeting with journalists.

Schumacher finished the Formula 2 season 12th and will hope to majorly improve on this to prove he has the skill and ability to make it into Formula 1. He is part of the Ferrari academy and has already tested for the Italian team last season.

It will be interesting to see his career play out and if he ever makes it to the top flight of motorsport.
