Schumacher reflects on test debut for Ferrari: "I enjoyed it a lot"

Mick Schumacher reveals his enjoyment during his first Formula 1 test for Ferrari on Tuesday. He insists he performed better than he expected during the event in Bahrain.
Schumacher drove for Ferrari on Tuesday, before changing overalls and climbing into the Alfa Romeo on Wednesday. The German finished as high as third with the Ferrari colours, a result which he didn't expect.
"I did not expect that I could perform like this," Schumacher told Motorsport.com after the test days in Bahrain.
"I think it was easy to work on myself and the team because I enjoyed it so much. I have learned a lot from both teams and I was able to find the limit more."
It is not yet clear when the driver will test again this year, but the German will come into action in Azerbaijan at the end of this month. Schumacher will ride the Formula 2 race there on the Formula 1 weekend at Baku.
“I don't know what will happen next, but I want to race in the F2 again. Baku has a special circuit," the son of legend Michael Schumacher said.
