F1 race director Michael Masi says that it will take a while for the F2 crash involving Anthoine Hubert and Juan Manuel Correa to be investigated, but he says work is underway in "several different areas".
Hubert tragically died just over an hour after the crash and Correa is still in a serious condition in a London hospital.
Lessons are being learned from the freak accident at Raidillon, but Masi says that it could be a long time before any answers or further safety ideas are presented.
He said in Singapore: “I can’t say much. Work is going on in several different areas, and that will take some time.
“In certain areas we are cooperating with the Belgian authorities and are obliged to comply with local laws, so we’re going through their national federation for that.

“That’s on one hand. On the other, we are talking about raising safety standards and so on. That’s all I can really say now."
