Former F2 champion Théo Pourchaire will become Mercedes' fourth development driver.
The Frenchman was crowned Formula 2 champion in 2023 and was part of the Sauber Academy, but he could not graduate to F1 as a full-time driver.

After competing in IndyCar in 2024 and in the European Le Mans Series in 2025, Pourchaire will also drive for Peugeot in the World Endurance Championship's hypercar category alongside being Mercedes' new development driver.
He joins Doriane Pin, Joshua Durksen and Anthony Davidson in that position.
