Max Verstappen picked up his second trophy of the season as he beat both Ferrari drivers to clinch third place. Verstappen said before the race that Red Bull was targetting Ferrari, and they certainly did.
“It was a good race, a good start. We are of course short of top speed. The three of them, of course, went into the bend very strange. As a result, I was a bit at risk, but in the end, it worked out well for turn three. I actually went from P5 to P3 there."
“That was good and that just makes the race, since you can ride your own race. The speed was good. We knew it would be difficult to defend against a Ferrari after the restart, so I had to use all the power on the straight," the Dutchman explains for the camera of Ziggo Sport.
