Marko now denies 20bhp Honda upgrade

Helmut Marko has made yet another U-turn on things he’s said after now denying that Honda’s upgrade for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will bring a 20 break horsepower boost to the team.

Red Bull had previously said that the upgrade would bring them extra power to bring them closer to the level of Ferrari and Mercedes, but that seems to not be the case.

Marko told Auto Bild: "The 20 horsepower that is now being mentioned is not correct, it is less than that. We can, however, push the engine longer without compromising reliability.”
